Brief History

Since the inception of Rush in 2001, weekly meetings have included a feeding program held every Tuesday. Traditional yet nutritious meals are served to members and attendees.

During Christmas, Rush distributes a special package to each member, containing various food items for festive season celebrations. Rush UK supports the program by raising funds for both the Christmas package and the weekly meetings, ensuring members are provided for throughout the year and during special occasions.

We aim to relieve the needs of vulnerable adults in Kakamega, Kenya, and the surrounding counties who are in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by the provision of grants to RUSH Kenya to support their work relieving these specific needs..
